Questions builders ask first
What does fixed price mean here?
The number on your written quote is the number you pay. If the scope grows, we name the new number in writing before anything is built. Nothing is billed by the hour.
How do we pay?
A deposit to start and the balance on launch day. Both amounts are on the written quote. Monthly plans bill at the start of each month and stop when you email us.
Do we have to write the copy?
No. We write it from your words. You tell us about the trade, the jobs, and the towns in one meeting, and we write the rest in plain English. You read it before it goes live.
What about photos?
Send the phone photos of finished jobs. We pick, crop, and size them. A site with real job photos beats a site with stock photos every time, so we never use stock.
Who owns the site?
You do, from the first day. The domain, the code, the content, and every login are in your name. If you leave, you take all of it.
What does 4 weeks need from us?
One meeting, one list of changes, and one person who can say yes. Sending changes 3 at a time over 2 weeks turns a 4 week build into a 3 month one, so the list is the rule.
We already have a site. Can you fix it instead?
Send it for a site review. If a few changes will do the job, we say so and quote those. If it needs rebuilding, we say that too, with the reason.
